The Rarest 1928 Motorhome ‘House Car’

The Pierce-Arrow 1928 House Car is one of the rarest manufactured motorhomes in the world. Created just before the financial wall-street collapse, the long, fancy-looking motorhome hit every note. It has comfortable seating, a bathroom, and a dining area for evening meals. For an older vehicle it’s very spacious, and there are only three in existence! 

They were a luxury vehicle of the time, a status symbol, as not as many people could afford them. You can see the inspiration drawn from the Pullman rail cars with the rear facing rail, and the rectangular shape of the vehicle.
