Energy Friendly Motorhome On The Rise

With the increase in electric vehicles over the years, it’s no surprise that Winnebago has been working on their fully-operational eRV2 concept motorhome. With a mission to help customers explore the world with less environmental impact, the vehicle boasts zero emissions and was last seen in the final stages of vehicle testing.

The all-electric motorhome allows for up to 7 days of boondocking (camping remotely without hookups). It’s silent and has a 900W solar capacity. Based on the Ford E-Transit platform, it’s powerful and ready for adventure. The company has partnered with Lithionics batteries to produce a safe and compact house battery on a 48V system, with more than 15,000 watt-hours.

The eRV2 motorhome is a really interesting vehicle with its modern Scandi-inspired design. This includes a five-in-one sleeper lounge and two adaptable workspaces with charging points and a high-speed WiFi router.

Furthermore, it has sustainable interiors created from renewable plant materials. From the seating to the flooring to the mattress, everything is designed with environmental impact in mind. The lights can change from white to red, reducing light pollution while looking pretty cool.
