Closure Of UK Caravan Sites

Closure of UK Caravan Sites

At the end of the 2024 season, several caravan club campsites in the UK are closing as they have been struggling occupancy-wise, and financially for a number of years. Those named on the Caravan club website are: Bromyard Downs, Broomfield Farm, Dockray Meadow, Gwern-y-Bwlch and Nunnykirk Club.

The club has instead acquired new campsites in more popular membership locations.

Will larger remote sites soon suffer the same fate as these smaller locations?

The closures highlight a shift towards venues with more facilities that generate higher revenue, despite some campers preferring simpler sites.
